The path to an employee’s heart is through their stomach. That’s why there are 5 restaraunts, 2 coffee shops and many food areas in One Microsoft Place.
Lunch area
Main canteen area is located on the ground floor.
The area is designed in such way that every person can find a comfortable place for a lunch — either it is a large table for a noisy company or a quite corner for a family lunch.
If the weather is good, people love to have lunch on the summer terrace:
Forage & Gather
The first restaraunt in the list is Forage & Gather. It is the most healthy restaraunt: salad bar, 2 kinds of healthy main courses, 4 kinds of soups, some desserts and drinks.
It has its own bakery and a farm of greens.
Italian Quarter
Another option is Italian Quarter. They serve Italian pizza, BBQ, salads and pastas here.
Chef’s Table
Chef’s Table offers 3 main courses on lunch — fish or seafood, vegetarian and meat. In morning, you can also get a good breakfast here.
Street Kitchen
Street Kitchen pleases the employees with street food from around the world — mexican burrito, american burgers and BBQ, indian curry, korean ramen and so on. Every one or two weeks they change the menu.
Pulse
Pulse serves the most loved Irish lunch — sandwich, crisps and soup. You can either pick a sandwich from the menu or create your own one.
Cortado
After lunch, it is always great to have some fresh coffee, tea or desserts.
Coffee shop on the 3rd floor
On the third floor, there is a coffee shop which works until the end of the working day. Beside coffee and tea, you can also order some sandwiches, pizzas or bakery here.
It is usually full of people, especially by the end of the day.
Kitchen areas
There is a kitchen area on every floor, with free fruits, soft and hot drinks.
All restaraunts and coffee shops on the premises are subsidised, so that the food is much cheaper, than in the town.
For example, this is an example of an order for two people on 1 day of total €13: curry chicken; vegetarian asian noodles with veggies; pumpkin soup with chilli and coconut milk; chicken soup with coconut milk; and two salads for the dinner.
The food can be paid with an employee’s badge or bank card.
